Frequently asked questions:

1. How do I book an Ebike?

Contact us through enquiries@strathdearn.org or call us on 01808 511700. You will require photographic ID.

2. How far in advance do I need to make a booking?

All bookings will be considered, provided a bike is available. There are 6 bikes available for hire.

3. How do I pay for the hire?

Payment can be taken at the hub via cash or card, locals can make advance payment via bank transfer. A sales receipt can be provided on request.

4. How much does it cost to hire an Ebike?

£30.00 for a 24-hr hire

£15.00 if you are resident in the IV13 area

5. Who can hire an Ebike?

Anyone over the age of 18 years who has completed our terms and conditions

6. What do you get when you hire an Ebike?

7. How far can I go?

Between 20 -25 miles on a full charge

8. Can I hire an Ebike for less than 24 hours?

Yes, however, our hires are charged per 24 hour period

9. Do Ebikes have lights?

Yes, all the bikes come with lights fitted

10. Will the Ebike function when the battery is flat?
    
    Yes, it can be ridden like an ordinary bike.
    

11. Do I have to pay a deposit?

Yes, a £100 deposit is required. This is refunded provided the bike is returned without damage like an ordinary bike.
